Serve The Mankind: Find the Ultimate Peace in Community Work
There is a hadith of Prophet Muhammad which says one day a voice was heard, giving commands to the clouds to give rainfall so that a man’s field could be irrigated. This man was then asked what he would do with his produce. He said he would first estimate his production and distribute it into 3 portions. 1st portion would be kept for charity, to serve others and another portion he would keep for the sustenance of his family while the rest he would utilize for future production in his field.
It is said that if we give to those who are in need, the Almighty would give to us in some way or the other when we would be in need of something. It his miraculous way of paying us for the good we do. God multiplies what we give as charity and gives it back to us. It is God who will fill our lives with abundance.
There are many benefits of charity other than what God will give us in return. If we serve others we ourselves will get the inner satisfaction of having done something good.
Helping others should not just be limited to charity alone. Community work should also involve volunteering. It involves helping the needy efficiently and quickly. Nothing can be more satisfying then helping a poor kid in having good education. Education will help him achieve a better standard of living in future than live his entire life in ruins. Community work at schools, hospitals, and old-age homes brings you closer to the life. You get to see the suffering of others which gives you an urge to make a difference in their lives. Life is beautiful and everyone has the right to feel it and not suffer for it.
If we are capable enough, we should definitely help others and help them live better lives in better conditions. Imagine if all the affluent, healthy, well-to-do people of the world started helping and volunteering for social causes, the world would become a better place to live in. There would be no suffering at all. There would be no dearth of happiness in the world. Free educational courses are a must. This can help in breaking the language barriers and raise awareness amongst the people who cannot afford good education. This will help in building up the confidence to sit for interviews and get better jobs. A variety of courses are available which can be taken up by people of all ages.
It is gratifying to volunteer for social causes like healthcare, education, old-age homes, helping the abandoned kids who do not have anyone to look after them. The youth, today are full of energy. They must volunteer to help the poor and needy. Hence, the sports activities must be organized for youth to socialize with their peers and stay active and healthy. A variety of sports events care organized aimed at developing successful sportspersons. Personalized care is offered to every child or youth as the different kids will have different capabilities. Sports activitiesare not only meant for children but for adults as well because healthy body makes a healthy mind.
Be it funding a sport activity or enrolling a poor kid for free educational courses, there is no dearth to how you can make this world a better place to live. Humanity cannot be purchased or exchanged; it is inherent and can only be practiced.
